Fastjet Zimbabwe took delivery of the first of three Embraer E120 jets. The aircraft has 30 seats onboard and will be used to launch flights to 2 new destinations, which are Kariba and Hwange. Fastjet will introduce new sectors such as Harare 🔄 Kariba, Kariba 🔄 Victoria Falls, and Victoria Falls 🔄 Hwange. Flights already available for booking via their website. Click here to book tickets.
Nunurai Ndawana fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson said, “We are delighted to welcome this aircraft to serve our domestic new routes to Kariba and Hwange National Park. Air connectivity is a key enabler for tourism development, and we continue to demonstrate our commitment to the development of tourism in Zimbabwe and the region.”
With two more 30-seater E120s on the way, it is possible that the airline will start to operate flights on its Victoria Falls 🔄 Maun route using the type. They currently operate the route in collaboration with Botswana based Mack Air, who use a Cessna Grand Caravan 208B on the route. I anticipate that Fastjet will be announcing new routes, and hopefully, Victoria Falls 🔄 Bulawayo will be one of those. Leave a comment and tell us what new routes you are hoping to see?
