Emirates Airlines has significantly expanded its operations to Madagascar, responding to strong demand and supporting the nation’s tourism and trade sectors. Initially launching flights in September 2024, the airline increased its frequency from four to six weekly flights starting April 2, 2025.
To meet seasonal demand during the busy travel period, Emirates introduced a fifth weekly flight on its Dubai-Antananarivo route via the Seychelles from December 13, 2024, to January 10, 2025. This temporary increase provided additional capacity, offering over 1,800 seats in each direction per week.

The expanded flight schedule operates on all days except Mondays, utilizing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration, accommodating First Class, Business, and Economy passengers. This enhancement offers travelers greater flexibility and convenience when planning their trips to and from Madagascar.
Emirates’ commitment to boosting services to Madagascar aligns with the country’s goal of attracting one million tourists by 2028. The enhanced connectivity not only supports tourism but also facilitates trade and economic growth, benefiting local communities and businesses.
