Air Peace will be receiving four Boeing 737-800s on lease from Air Explore, which is a charter airline based in Slovakia. The lease will run from November 2024 to the end of March 2025. Air Explore has two different configurations for its Boeing 737s. The most common configuration features 189 seats in an all economy layout. The other configuration features 8 business class seats and 168 economy class seats.
The four 737-800 aircraft will operate under a damp lease agreement to bolster Air Peace’s capacity. AirExplore will provide the aircraft, pilots, maintenance, and insurance, with Air Peace providing the cabin crew. The aircraft will be deployed on domestic flights within Nigeria.
“We are excited about this new partnership for the winter season, this collaboration will not only benefit the client’s customers but also strengthen our presence in the African aviation market while sustaining revenue during the challenging winter period.” Martin Stulajter, Chief Executive Officer at AirExplore said.
