RwandAir suspends flights to Mumbai

RwandaAir is set to suspend all flights to and from Mumbai (BOM, India) from March 15. The first flight on this route was operated in April 2017. RwandaAir operates from their base at Kigali (KGL, Rwanda) to Mumbai with a fuel stop in Mombasa (MBA, Kenya). The flights are operated three times weekly using a Boeing 737-800.

RwandAir’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Best Owie said l: “RwandAir initiated this route seven years ago and has consistently sought new ways to enhance its service delivery on this route therefore, the decision to temporarily suspend operations is driven by the need to identify and deploy the most suitable product to cater to our valued passengers on this route. The current limitation of operating a non-stop flight to India poses a significant challenge that the airline aims to address soon by introducing the appropriate product.”
