ValueJet Launches Direct Flights from Lagos to Gambia

On the 15th of May, Nigerian airline ValueJet officially inaugurated direct flights between Lagos, Nigeria, and Banjul (BJL, Gambia), marking a significant expansion of its West African network.

These flights will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays from Murtala Muhammed International Airport’s new terminal in Lagos to Banjul International Airport and vice versa, utilizing ValueJet’s fleet of CRJ900 aircraft.

The introduction of this route aims to bolster tourism and business relations between Nigeria and The Gambia. According to Capt. Omololu Majekodunmi, Managing Director of ValueJet, the new service is part of the airline’s broader strategy to enhance travel options and connectivity within West Africa.
