Upon completion of these audits, the NCAA confirmed Max Air’s readiness to resume operations. The airline was cleared to restart domestic flights effective from midnight on March 17, 2025 . Max Air announced its resumption of services, stating that the operational pause allowed it to reinforce its commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence .
The NCAA emphasized its ongoing commitment to ensuring that all airlines adhere to the highest safety standards and will continue to monitor Max Air through an enhanced surveillance program to ensure strict compliance with regulations. Max Air’s resumption of domestic flights marks a positive development for Nigerian aviation, reflecting the industry’s dedication to safety and regulatory compliance
