Delta Air Lines is expanding its African network with two significant new routes: a nonstop service from Atlanta to Marrakech, Morocco, and an additional daily flight from Atlanta to Accra, Ghana.
Nonstop Service to Marrakech
Starting October 25, 2025, Delta will operate a three-times-weekly nonstop flight from its Atlanta hub to Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK). This service will be conducted using a Boeing 767-400ER aircraft, featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin seating options. The introduction of this route makes Delta the second U.S. airline, after United, to offer direct flights to Marrakech, enhancing connectivity between the U.S. and Morocco.

Enhanced Service to Accra
In addition to the Marrakech route, Delta plans to launch seasonal daily nonstop flights from Atlanta to Accra, Ghana, beginning December 1, 2025. These flights will complement the existing year-round service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Accra, operated on an Airbus A330-900neo. This expansion underscores Delta’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Africa and providing more travel options for customers.

Delta’s new routes to Marrakech and Accra reflect the airline’s dedication to expanding its global network and providing passengers with more direct flight options to key African destinations. Whether you’re planning to explore Morocco’s vibrant markets and historic sites or reconnect with loved ones in Ghana, these new services offer convenient and comfortable travel options.
