Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has announced an exciting new interline agreement with Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest carrier. This collaboration will significantly enhance travel options for passengers flying to and from Nigeria, offering smoother connections and a range of benefits for both leisure and corporate travellers.
With this new partnership, Emirates expands its reach to 13 additional cities in Nigeria, giving travellers flying from Dubai to Lagos access to key destinations such as Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri. The seamless single-ticket travel experience and simplified baggage handling make it easier for passengers to explore more of Nigeria, whether they are visiting family, attending business meetings, or enjoying leisure trips.
In addition to the already popular Lagos route, passengers flying on Emirates will now have effortless access to even more destinations across Nigeria. Business travellers, in particular, will benefit from expanded connections to Abuja, Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, and Warri—important hubs in one of Africa’s fastest-growing economies. By making these cities more accessible, the partnership also strengthens the ties between Nigeria and the UAE, further boosting the robust trade and tourism exchanges between the two nations.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with Air Peace is a key step in enhancing our connectivity and providing more travel options for those visiting friends and family, as well as corporate and leisure travellers. We are excited to continue building on this strategic partnership in the future to bring even more benefits to our mutual customers.”
For Air Peace, the partnership with Emirates is a significant milestone, expanding its international reach and solidifying Nigeria as a key player in global travel. The airline’s Chief Operating Officer, Oluwatoyin Olajide, emphasized that this agreement is not only a boost for international connectivity but also an important step towards improving the travel experience for Nigerian passengers.

“This collaboration offers Nigerian travellers seamless access to both domestic and international destinations,” Olajide said. “It will also foster business, tourism, and trade opportunities, strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE.”
Air Peace operates a diverse fleet of aircraft, including Airbus 320s, Boeing 737s, Boeing 777s, Dornier 328-300 Jets, Embraer 145s, and Embraer 195-E2s. The airline’s extensive domestic network, combined with this international partnership, ensures greater convenience and efficiency for passengers.
