Lufthansa begins Munich to Johannesburg flights

Lufthansa is now operating direct flight between Munich and Johannesburg. Flights are going to be operated 3 times weekly using an Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This service will be operated year round. The A350-900s are configured to carry a total of 293 passengers (48 business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 224 economy class seats)

Lufthansa’s CEO, Jens Ritter said; “Our customers in South Africa will have more choice and travel options departing from Johannesburg, as this new connection complements our daily service to Frankfurt.
