Azman Air suspends all flights

Nigerian domestic airline Azman Air has ceased all operations due to aircraft unavailablity. No aircraft is available as they are undergoing necessary C-checks, with completion dates pushed back as the process has taken longer than initially anticipated, causing the airline to take the drastic steps.

Two aircraft had been sent to an MRO facility in Turkey, while another two were due for maintenance. Another aircraft’s maintenance was near completion and is expected to return to Nigeria in October. Staff were reportedly placed on unpaid leave, with only 8 senior staff members being spared.
