Etihad Airways announced that it will be resuming flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH, United Arab Emirates) and Nairobi (NBO, Kenya) on the 15th of December. The route will be operated nonstop four times a week using an Airbus A320.

Lena Havia, Etihad’s Vice-President Network and Scheduling, said; “We are pleased to resume flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi this winter. We are grateful to the Kenyan and UAE authorities for the authorization to resume flights and thank our passengers who are eager to use this popular route for their patience.”
Although Etihad has announced the resumption of flights on this route, it’s important to note that the airline initially had plans to resume flights on the 1st of May 2024, and this was postponed to June 1. On the 1st of June, flights were postponed indefinitely with no reason given.
