Overland Airways takes delivery of second Embraer E175 jet

Overland Airways took delivery of its second brand-new Embraer E175 jet. The aircraft aircraft was placed during the 2021 Dubai Airshow. The deal was for a total of 6 Embraer E175 jets.

The airline launched direct Lagos to Abuja flight services on the 9th of August 9, deploying the newly acquired aircraft. The first aircraft was delivered in September 2023, with the second arriving in June 2024. 

Mrs. Aduke Atiba, Executive Director of Overland, said; “Introducing this new route shows our commitment to meeting growing demands for Lagos and Abuja air services. This direct service addition to our expanding route network represents a significant milestone in serving our customers better. We aim to relieve Nigerians of the difficulties experienced on this route by providing convenient and comfortable air services.”
