Uganda Airlines has added an Airbus A320 to its fleet on a 6 month lease deal from Global Aviation based in South Africa. The 35 year old aircraft is configured with a total 150 seats. 12 of those are business class seats, with the remaining 138 being economy seats.
Uganda Airlines is hoping to secure aircraft capable of flying medium haul routes such as the Entebbe to Johannesburg route, which is currently operated using a CRJ900 which faces some load restrictions. The aircraft will also be utilised on shorter routes where demand is extremely high.
