Kenya Airways announced plans to boost as well as grow its network for the Summer 2024 season with increased frequencies to multiple destinations and the addition of Eldoret and Maputo to its network.
Flights on the domestic route between Nairobi and Eldoret (EDL, Kenya) will begin on the 25th of March operating five weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The regional route between Nairobi and Maputo (MPM, Mozambique) will begin on the 14th of June, operating three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Effective 2 June, flights between Nairobi and Accra (ACC, Ghana) will see the Boeing 787-8 deployed on some days instead of operating solely using the B737-800. Flights to Freetown (FNA, Sierra Leone) operate via Accra and will therefore also get the larger B787-8.

Flights to New York (JFK, United States of America) will be adjusted due to increased demand. From the 15th of April, Kenya Airways will increase its frequency from 7 weekly flights (daily flights) to 9 weekly flights. The additional flights will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays. From the 5th of July, Kenya Airways will boost frequencies to Paris (CDG, France) with two additional weekly flights bringing total frequency to daily flights. The extra flights will operate on Fridays and Sundays. The extra demand is aimed at accommodating passengers travelling to and from the 2024 Olympic Games.
Kenya Airways will add three additional flights to Lagos (LOS, Nigeria) starting from the 1st of April, bringing total weekly flights to 10. Additional flights will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Other changes include 5 daily flights to Entebbe from the current 4 using both E190s and B737s. Flights to Dar Es Salaam to increase from current 3 to 4 times daily using E190. Johannesburg will increase from 21 to 26 Weekly (3 daily B787 flights and 5 weekly B737-800 flights).
