Planes collide mid air in Kenya

A Safarilink Dash 8-300 aircarft and a Cessna 172 Skyhawk operated by Ninety-Nines Flying School had a mid-air collision. The crash occurred shortly after the Safarilink aircraft had departed Wilson Airport for Diani with 39 passengers and 5 crew members on board. The Dash 8 managed to land at Nairobi-Wilson Airport without any further incidents, but unfortunately, the Cessna 172 crashed in Nairobi National Park, killing both occupants.
