Air Peace gears up for London flights

Air Peace is getting ready to launch flights to London (LGW, United Kingdom) from their base in Lagos (LOS, Nigeria). Flights are scheduled to be operated 6 times weekly using a combination of the Boeing 777 (2 x weekly) and Boeing 787 dreamliner (4x weekly). Air Peace does not operate any B787s as its widebody fleet only consists of the Boeing 777 (One B777-200 and two B777-300). As a result, Air Peace has partnered with Norse Atlantic.

Lagos (LOS, Nigeria) – London Gatwick (LGW, United Kingdom)

The partnership commences in April 2024, initially for a period of two months with the potential for a longer-term agreement, the ACMI charter will operate four times a week, offering travellers convenient and reliable transportation options between these key destinations. Norse Atlantic Airways will be using slots at London Gatwick allocated to Air Peace to facilitate this new route.

“We are thrilled to be working with Air Peace to launch this ACMI charter service between London Gatwick and Lagos. This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to leverage our expertise in charter operations to deliver a reliable and high-quality service to Air Peace and their customers,” said Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder of Norse Atlantic Airways.

A quick look on Air Peace website reveals that flights are scheduled to start on the 30th of March onboard a B777-200 configured with a total of 274 seats (12 first class, 42 business class and 220 economy seats). On the  31st of March, Air Peace will operate their B777-300 with 319 seats (50 business class, 259 economy seats). The other 4 flights will be operated by Norse Atlantic onboard a Boeing 787-9 with 338 seats (56 premium economy seats and 282 economy seats).
