Airlink adds 3 Embraer E190s to fleet

South African based Airlink took delivery of 3 E190 regional jets from Falko Regional Aircraft Limited. Falko is already in business with airlink and now has a fleet of 11 Aircraft that have been leased to Airlink with 5 of those jets being delivered in 2023.

Rodger Foster, Airlink’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director notes, “Airlink is delighted to have concluded the lease of these three Embraer E190 aircraft with Falko. The Embraer E190 has proved to be the right size of aircraft for most routes within our comprehensive network of destinations domestically and throughout Southern Africa, enabling high frequency of service, appropriate capacity to satisfy market demands, at the right time. Falko has been a wonderful lessor and partner to Airlink, the Falko team have worked well with Airlink executives in concluding this deal at mutually beneficial commercial terms. The addition of these aircraft to our growing fleet will enable Airlink to continue establishing our footprint in Southern Africa both or3ganically and strategically.”
