Kenya Airways (KQ) resumed flights between Nairobi (NBO, Kenya) and Bangkok (BKK, Thailand). Flights will be operated five times weekly using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Kenya Airways last operated on this route in 2020 when it had to suspend flights due to the covid 19 global pandemic.
COVID, airlines are still struggling but this is a testimony of what you should expect in terms of airline business, the markets are slowly opening up and we look forward to fly to more markets subject to commercial viability,” Tony Gathogo, KQ Head of Domestic and International Airports, said.
It is important to note that flights to Bangkok be tagged with Gaunzhou flights. The outbound route will be Nairobi-Bangkok-Guanzhou, and return flights will be from Guanzhou to Bangkok and finally back to Nairobi.
