RwandAir took delivery of their 7th Boeing 737 aircraft. The 737-800 is registered as 9XR-WY has a seating capacity of 156, with 12 of those being business class seats and the remaining 144 being economy class seats. On its delivery flight, the aircraft flew from Budapest (BUD, Hungary) to Cairo ( CAI, Egypt) and finally to Kigali (KGL, Rwanda).

RwandAir CEO Yvonne Makolo said, “The introduction of our seventh Boeing aircraft is another major milestone for us, and I would like to thank everyone who has helped make this possible. We have been expanding our fleet over the past year and look forward to accelerating this growth to offer customers even better service and connectivity across Africa and beyond.”
