Max Air suspension lifted

Max Air has been given the green light to resume operations using their Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline was banned by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on the 12th of July due to safety concerns. Click this link for more info on the suspension. Despite the suspension, Max Air was able to operate its widebody Boeing 777 and 747s for returning pilgrims.

A report published by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority revealed that investigations resulted in the discovery of water in the fuel tanks of some aircraft. Max Air blamed fuel suppliers for the contaminated fuel and stated that they had voluntarily suspended flights and began their own investigations two days prior to being grounded by NCAA.
