Cabo Verde took delivery of their second Boeing 737 and first Max variant. The airline now has a fleet of two aircraft consisting of one B737-700 and one B737-Max 8. At its peak, the airline used to operate four Boeing 757s before retiring the last one in January 2021 and later taking delivery of their first B737 in 2022.
The Boing 737-Max 8 that Cabo Verde was previously operated by now defunct Comair Air, who failed to recover from the effects brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The aircraft which was new when it was delivered to South African based Comair is now 4 years old.

The aim for Cabo Verde is to slowly rebuild its route network to pre covid levels. “When the aircraft arrives, we will introduce the routes little by little until we get to all markets where we operated.”
