Kenyan based charter airline Safe Air signed a letter of intent for two Boeing 777-200ER widebody aircraft. The aircraft will be provided by UK based Air Charter Service on a 3 year lease deal. Delivery of the first aircraft is expected in November, whilst the second one is expected in December.
“We are thrilled to announce the signing of this LOI for the delivery of two B777-200 aircraft,” said Captain Mohamed Hussein Al-Sheiba, Deputy Chairman at SafeAir / Fly North. “These aircraft will significantly expand our operational capacity and enable us to provide exceptional services to our clients in the ACMI and Charter market. We are confident that the B777-200’s exceptional performance and reliability will contribute to the continued growth and success of SafeAir.”
