Cathay Pacific looking at increasing flights to South Africa

Currently, Cathay Pacific operates three weekly flights between Hong Kong (HKG, China) and Johannesburg (JNB, South Africa) but this cam possibly change as the airline is looking at increasing frequency to daily flights on this route. Also, Cathay Pacific wants to launch non stop flights from Hong Kong to Cape Town and Durban. The airline is looking at operating to Cape Town three times weekly, whilst Durban will have one weekly flight. If the airline goes through with this, they will be operating a total of 11 weekly flights to South Africa from the current 3 weekly flights.
