Airbus officially unvield the A350F livery at the Paris Airshow. The new aircraft program, which was unveiled towards the end of 2021 and has almost reached 50 firm orders. Entry into service for the A350F was originally scheduled for the end of 2025, but it was recently shifted to 2026. The A350F is Airbus response to Boeings dominance in the freighter market.
Airbus is marketing its freighter as the only next-generation aircraft available on the freighter market today. According to Airbus, the A350F has equal volume as the 747F, +3t more payload compared to the 777F, and offers more range. It also offers 40% lower fuel burn and CO2 emissions compared to the 747F. The combination of all the A350F’s new-generation features lead to at least $50m USD extra value to operators over the lifetime of the aircraft.m as compared to its closest competitor.

For the Boeing lovers, you definitely should be worried. Airbus is out for blood and is not being subtle about. The Boeing 777X Freighter is still far from entry into service, and Airbus’ offer looks too good not to consider, especially for airlines already operating passenger versions of A350.
