On the 2nd of June, Eswatini Air launched a new direct route connecting Matsapha International Airport in Eswatini and Cape Town International Airport. The route will further enhance the connectivity options for travellers in the region, and the new route reflects Eswatini Air’s commitment to expanding its network and offering convenient travel options to its passengers.
The route will be operated using a 50-seater Embraer ERJ145 aircraft. Initially, the airline will offer three weekly flights operated on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a carefully planned schedule to cater to both leisure and business travellers. By providing direct flights, the airline aims to facilitate seamless and efficient travel for passengers, eliminating the need for layovers or connecting flights.
The launch of flights to Cape Town marks the airlines’ completion of its four phase launch plan, which included launching flights to Johannesburg, Harare, Durban and Cape Town. For more on this click here.
