The national carrier of Algeria signed a deal with Boeing that will see them receiving eight B737-9 Max jets with deliveries scheduled to start in 2027. The carrier plans to aquire a total of 25 jets to allow for fleet renewal as well as expansion.
Fifteen of the twenty-five jets will be purchased by the airline whilst the remaining ten will be leased. The 10 leased jets will include six A330s with two of those being the newer NEO variant, two B737-800s, and two B737-900s. Deliveries are expected to start in the second quarter.
