Starting on the first of July, Proflight Zambia will be connecting Lusaka (LUN, Zambia) and Cape Town (CPT, South Africa) with two weekly flights. The flights will be operated every Tuesday and Saturday using a 50-seater Bombardier CRJ200 jet.
With the addition of the Cape Town service, Proflight will operate on four routes linking Zambia and South Africa. The three routes it already oprates on are Lusaka – Johannesburg, Ndola – Johannesburg and Lusaka – Durban. Proflight will also be adding a Boeing 737 to its fleet to meet its growing demand on the Lusaka – Johannesburg route.

“We are seeing growing demand for flights between Zambia and South Africa, hence the time is now right to launch this new direct service to Cape Town,” said Proflight Zambia Director Flight Operations Captain Josias Walubita. “Travellers can be assured of a safe, reliable and friendly service that adds further freedom and flexibility to explore the region.”
