Eurowings Discover resumes flights to Zimbabwe.

Eurowings Discover has resumed flights to the resort town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, which is popular amongst tourists as it is home to the 7th wonder of the world. Flights will be operated three times weekly using the A330 jet. All flights are operated via Windhoek.

The route was first launched in March 2022 as a seasonal flight, which would operate until November. In a move set to boost Zimbabwean tourism, Eurowings announced that Victoria Falls will no longer be a seasonal destination as flights will now be operated all year. This move, though a welcome development for Zimbabwe, comes at the cost of another destination. The seasonal flights to Nelspruit that were launched last year and operated from November to March will not be returning. The airline cited low demand as the reason for ending this route permanently.
