Rwandair took delivery of an Airbus A330-200 (9XR-WX), increasing their longhaul fleet to three jets. Their fleet now consists of two A330-200s and one A330-300. The airlines fleet also consists of two Boing 737-700NGs, four B737-800NGs, one B737-800BCF, two DHC-8-Q400, and two CRJ900s.
The airline’s CEO Yvonne Makolo said, “We are excited to be expanding our fleet further with the addition of our third long-haul aircraft. Its addition will allow us to continue our route expansion and offer customers even more connections.”
The new jet will fly to the airlines current destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including London, Brussels, Lagos, Dubai, and Doha. It will also allow the airline to expand into new markets as well as offer increased frequencies on the existing routes.
