Safair announces the launch of flights to Zanzibar.

South African based low-cost carrier Safair will, on the 8th of April, launch scheduled flights to Zanzibar (ZNZ, Tanzania). Flights are currently scheduled to operate only once a week using the Boeing 737. There are plans to increase flight frequency to the popular island destination in the future.

Safair has been on an expansion drive since the downfall of Comair, which operated as Kulula and British Airways. It has purchased more jets and applied for multiple new routes, including to Mauritius, where it already operates three weekly flights.
