An Airlink Bae Jetstream 41 (ZS-NRJ) aircraft operating a private charter flight to Venetia Mine Aerodrome (FAVM) in Limpopo, South Africa, struck a large bird just after landing. The bird strike caused the right propeller blade to break off. The broken piece went on to impact the fuselage and managed to break into the cabin of the jet, resulting in substantial damage. None of the passengers or crew were injured.
