ValueJet; A New Low Cost Carrier for Nigeria.

ValueJet (FVJ, Nigeria) is a low cost carrier based in Lagos, Nigeria. The carrier is still working towards gaining their AOC. The first two CRJ900 jets were delivered to the carrier on the 20th of May. Both jets are 15 years old and were previously operated by Air Nostrum. The third CRJ900 was delivered to the carrier on the 10th of September. The jet is 16 years old and was previously operated by Lufthansa Cityline.

Initially, ValueJet had made plans to launch operations using Airbus A320 jets but later on settled for the CRJ900 instead. Although the carrier is yet to receive its AOC, plans are at an advanced stage as demonstration flights have already begun. The carrier expects to receive its AOC amd launch flights in the first half of Q42022.
