Qatar Airways:

Qatar Airways announced flights to 7 new destinations and amongst those was Somalia’s capital city Mogadishu. Operations will begin on the 1st of July with 3 weekly flights. Qatar Airways will announce a further 7 new routes in May and hopefully amongst those will be new destinations in Africa as well.
Airlink South Africa:

Airlink announced that its outbound flight from Johannesburg to St Helena Island will no longer be having its fuel-stop in Windhoek. The fuel-stop will now be in Walvis Bay and this change will allow the airline to carry an additional 11 passengers on this route as Walvis Bay Airport has more favourable altitude and temperatures allowing the Embraer E190 jet to operate more efficiently.
Ethiopain Airlines:

Flights from Addis Ababa to Guangzhou will be increased from the current 10 weekly to 14 weekly flights starting from the 1st of October.
Air Senegal:

Air Senegal’s brand new and first A330neo in Africa entered service on the Daka~Paris route replacing the leased A340 previously operating the route.
