January 31 marked the day the first airbus A330NEO touched down on African soil as it landed at Blainise Diagne International Airport Dakar in Dakar. The new jet is configured with 32 business class seats, 21 premium economy and 237 in economy class.

Air Senegal began operations on the 14th of May 2018 with two brand new ATR72-600 aircraft which were followed by 2 A319s towards the end of the year. They will be expecting the seconds A330NEO delivery before the end of the year.
